Orcas II

We usually go up the week of the big parade. In the past the themes have been things such as forest, water, fairies, dream, or animals. They’re pretty loose, and they’re running out of themes – this year’s was dance party. It’s a dance party anyway people! I haven’t actually been in the parade in a while, and this year stood on the sidewalk diligently taking pictures. Our family is pretty goofy, just like all of our cousins!

The four people in the center of this picture are our cousins, and the two to the left of them (in the blue helmet and purple dress) are part of the clan too.

My aunt (below), Jane, and Julia were chickens. Fern tails and egg carton eyes – and the chicken dance!

Most of us ended up wearing the helmet at some point. How could we not!

The Viking Daniel and his “hound” Lucy. We’ve decided that the hat is permanently staying in the Captain’s boat. Attack!
