Flopsy and Mopsy | The Bunnies

Our property (the one that we're renting that is) has a really nice big backyard including two sheds. One's way in the back but the other is closer to the house. The closer one is also larger and has the perfect set up for rabbits (and chickens but I'll get to that later).

We've been talking about getting bunnies and chickens ever since we got here (we had chickens back in the States) and so last week we decided to make some progress.

All that to say... They're here now! So without further ado...

Flopsy and Mopsy. 

Note: Since the writing of this post, it has come to my attention that these names are uncertain as we have not as yet had the official proclamation. Any other name suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you. 

Their names have been a problem for the past week and a half. Originally I thought Flopsy and Mopsy were too over-used and classic bunny names (and I still do) but in the end they grew on me and our bunnies were looking at a bleak and nameless future. So Flopsy and Mopsy it is.

This is Mopsy. She's the quieter one of the two.

And this is Flopsy. Adventurous and curious.

We let them out on the grass today (safety measures a'plenty) and they loved being out in the sun.

And so did someone else!
