today.

Today, I made snickerdoodles because this girl had a craving. Oh yes. And then, because that just wasn't enough, I made brownies. I am now slightly regretting it, but not really. There's too much goodness going on to be sad.

Today, I am hesitant to dive into this weekend because I know that once I do I won't have much breathing time until after Christmas. The holiday season is upon us. It's one of my favorite times of year, but it's also one of the busiest. On the other hand, I know that this weekend is going to be amazing and I can't wait to spend more time with our church family.

Today, I am laughing and laughing and laughing at my brother's puppet show. My mom and I are pretty sure it was Hamlet, as everyone died.

Today, this is the song that has me.

Today, I am thankful for time at home. I was the only one of the family that didn't have to go anywhere, from ballet, to coffee dates, to soccer. So instead, I stayed home and just relaxed, read, baked, did some school, emailed a few friends, packed and played violin. Traveling is fun but home is better.

Today, (speaking of traveling) I am beyond excited for our trip next week. Traveling isn't my favorite thing, I could never do Europe in fourteen days or jump from city to city without time at home, but I do like a bit of visiting now and then. So next week, we are leaving for Rome. My camera is going to go shutter happy.

And, to make you smile a bit, here's my littlest brother playing his "drums." I think he has a future in it.
